Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data Aldier collects through this website, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Aldier is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us about privacy at any time through the contact form, choosing "Something else" and mentioning privacy.
What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, email address, organisation, role and the message you send.
- Aldier Briefing: your email address.
- Board Programme and careers registrations: the details you enter in those forms, including any link you choose to share.
- Technical data: our hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
We use these details to reply to you, send the Briefing you asked for, organise the programmes you registered for and contact you about careers. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and keeping the site secure.
Who processes it
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which also stores form submissions in a database on our behalf. Emails are sent through Resend. Both act on our instructions under data processing terms. We never sell personal data or share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to two years after our last contact, unless they lead to an engagement. Briefing subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Careers registrations are kept for twelve months.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, you may ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, object to its use or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, write to us through the contact form. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people who need it, and the forms are protected against automated abuse.
Changes
We will update this notice when our practices change, and show the date of the latest version at the top of the page.
