Our work / GENIVY
Founding engagement
An institution designed to be handed to its students.
GENIVY is an international guild of students, organised as a federation of national guilds. Aldier serves as its Founding Partner and designed the institution with all five of its practices.

The brief
Students everywhere learn, work and serve one another, yet little of that effort is recognised, organised or rewarded. GENIVY set out to change that: an institution in which students earn, develop and advance, and which belongs, in its running, to the students themselves.
What Aldier did
Five practices, one institution.
Aldier laid out GENIVY's strategy, identity, infrastructure and launch campaign as a single programme under one partner.
Strategy and governance
The economic model, the constitution, the federation of national guilds and the governance that keeps student leadership separate from the guild's enterprises.
Technology and data
The platform plan for membership, payments and the GENIVY Card: one student identity across every service the guild runs.
Data protection and safeguarding
The policies and controls a guild of young people needs for their data, their safety and their money.
Identity and website
The name, the ivy shield, the GENIVY Card and the institutional website, designed and built in Aldier Studio.
Launch and relations
The launch campaign and the case to patrons, universities and partners whose support the guild needs.

The handover
A role designed to shrink.
Aldier committed in writing to hand every function to the students who run the guild, from finance and operations to communications. The firm continues to work alongside GENIVY on its programmes, with the aim of a guild whose economy sustains itself.
